MINIMUM LEVEL: RIDE UPWIND AND TURN (TACK)
Improve your Freeride & Big Air technique efficiently in a fun environment! The sessions are a mix of practice, video analysis and theoretical explanations to help you achieve your goals safely.
LEVEL 1 - FREERIDE
Refine your fundamentals and explore new territory—pop, toeside, blind, slides, foil, strapless—as each approach expands your repertoire, helping you gain style and fluidity, whether you’re aiming for big jumps or a freer ride.
LEVEL 2 - OLD SCHOOL
Build up speed and height, then expand your repertoire with rotations, grabs, one-footers, and board-offs—maneuvers that require greater commitment and pave the way for the transition to Big Air.
LEVEL 3 - BIG AIR
Unlock your potential! Master the preload pop, incorporate loops into your tricks, explore new rotation variations, and pilot your kite in high-wind conditions. A playground for adrenaline junkies.

FAQ
Is coaching available if I don't know how to jump yet?
The minimum level required to start is the ability to ride upwind and do transitions—there is no need to be able to jump yet. Jumping and tricks are learned subsequently, as you progress from Level 1 (Freeride) to Level 3 (Big Air).

Is freeride coaching suitable if I don't want to do aerial tricks?
Yes. Beyond jumping, kitesurfing offers a whole world to explore—such as foiling, strapless riding, and numerous maneuvers like toeside, blind, or slides—that don't require any jumping. Coaching is tailored to your specific goals, not just progression toward Big Air.
How long does it take to go from the Freeride level to the Big Air level?
There is no fixed timeframe—it depends on the individual student: their practice frequency, natural rate of progress, and willingness to take technical risks. Some progress quickly with dedication, while others prefer to consolidate each stage before moving forward.

WHAT DO I NEED?
Since the courses are focused on improvement, it is preferable to come with your own kite and its bar. This will allow you to create benchmarks and automatisms on your own equipment that will facilitate your progress. You will also need to bring:
HELMET
Protect your head from impacts! If you want to learn board off or if you need to eject your board in an emergency before an impact, it is better to be well protected. Your head is your central computer!
IMPACT VEST
The higher you go and the more rotations and variations you attempt, the greater the chances of losing your balance. The impact vest protects your ribs and provides significant buoyancy.
HARNESS
Choose a harness that fits your body shape well so you can train optimally and comfortably. Remember, your harness allows you to feel your kite!
WHAT IS PROVIDED?
CAMERA
I film you during your session so that you can see your mistakes and correct them more easily.
WALKIE-TALKIE
I guide you throughout your session using radio communication via Walkie-Talkie.
MEDIAS
Recover your video/photo files for your social media posts (editing not included).

As a BPJEPS GADA certified instructor (graduating in 2024), I offer kitesurfing lessons in Leucate with a teaching method based on several years of sports instruction.
My rapid progress in the discipline allows me to understand exactly where you are — and how to move you forward effectively.
